Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali Coast is the most famous trail in Kauai. The whole thing is 11 miles long, and very strenuous. When we were here in 2002, we did hiked four miles of it to a gorgeous waterfall. This time around, we hiked out about a mile and then turned around to make sure we don't, you know, kill the baby and stuff.
As is the norm with all Kauai trails, this one is rocky, muddy, slippery and wet. Just like Nick likes it.

Umbrella is an essential piece of hiking gear around here.
Even with one, we still got kind of moist. |

View back to Ke'e beach. We swam there after the hike. |

This is, in fact, a trail not a rockfall. Nick is sleeping.
Mom is scrambling. |

After a refreshing nap, Nick decides to examine some rocks. |
