Sunol Hike

It's been raining the whole weekend and activity dog and activity baby were getting restless. Today was  nice, clear and warm (65 degrees!), so we went for a hike in Sunol Regional Wilderness. While most of Sunol is ridiculously steep, the hike to Little Yosemite is on a wide fire road and is definitely stroller-friendly. It's about two miles out and back, which took us an hour and a half or so since we were taking our time to smell the flowers, well, er, other stuff actually if you ask the dogs.
Heading out. Nick is looking for mushrooms.
We were hoping to find some chanterelles, but no luck.

Dogs lead the way.

Little Yosemite. Dogs went down into the creek, Nick and I stayed
on the road.

Typical East Bay scenery. Soon these hills will be green and then
covered in wildflowers. I predict lots of visits to Sunol.

After the hike. Nick and Tony are tired. Polly not so much.

Nick after his al-fresco lunch.

How to sh*t in the woods, baby edition.
