Rinding along in my automobile

Dance Dance Babyvolution

We can dance if we want to,
We can leave your friends behind,
Cause your friends don't dance
And if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine.

New swing

We now have a swing in the back yard. That is very acceptable.

Blocks

Blocks are very serious toys. Much concentration required.

Better late than never

We did take pictures of Nick with Santa. I just forgot to download them until now.
Why, exactly, did you wake me up from a nap to
sit on some weird dude's lap?

The Chuckit

Polly is very excited. Nick is holding the Chuckit in the correct position. Maybe soon he will figure out how to Throw. Ball.

Plotting his escape

Let's see, how does this work? I need to get out of here.

Dog crates

Two observations:
1. Nick figured out forward motion
2. Dog crate doors are apparently fascinating

More vuvuzela progress

Nick is starting to figure out how to make noise with this thing.

Vuvuzela revisited

Getting closer to intended usage.

In action:

Compare with this.

The boys in the morning

Everybody has their own thing.

Who goes where?

I noticed this morning the striking similarity between Nick's and Polly's sleeping arrangements. Both require an assortment of toys in their crates. Err cribs. Whatever.

Finally, I have a new toy!

This toy is very serious business. It has spinny parts. Spinny parts are complicated.

Climbing wall

Nick demanded I take him out today even though it was cold, and a little drizzly. Since I still haven't bought a cover for his jogging stroller, we had to take the bike carrier which is covered (and the bike, clearly). So yeah, my kid made me go biking in the rain. It was that or lots of yelling.

Since we were on wheels, we made it to the "far" park, which is big and fancy and has a kid climbing wall. It was mostly not raining by then, so Nick got to try it out.

All visits to the park must include time on the swing.

A wall with handles! What a great idea!
Am I ready to climb 5.10's yet?

I find this activity very acceptable.

No, really, I need more toys

The dog got a new toy. I didn't get a new toy. Must. Take. Dog's. Toy!
