Coffee!

Mom was out of the house, so Nick was 100% supervised by Dad.

Here's what we did:

Nick and Dad drinking coffee.
 Nick says he likes Sumatran.

Nick likes Sumatran so much that he demanded a bigger cup.

Will Mom let Dad supervise Nick any more?

Potero Hill

Nick went to the city to hang out with his cool San Francisco friends.
View from the playground. Nice!

I have a truck!

Dude, give us your toy!

De-trucked. Bummer.

Amgen Tour of California

Nick and Thomas went to see the fourth stage of the Amgen Tour of California bike race. As far as they are concerned, they got to sit on the ground, then it got really loud for a little while, and then they went to the park. Their moms, for some reason, were very fascinated by a bunch of guys on bikes.

Lots of kid pictures are here. Bike rider pictures, for those who care, are here.

Nick: Dude, your Sophie is upside down.
Thomas: No, dude, yours is upside down.

Eating the good stuff

Normally eating is a very distracted affair. It involves trying to do anything but eat.

But when it comes to Greek goat stew we have complete focus, dedication and interest.

Today for dinner

The dogs got pasta, cheese, and blueberries, served by Nick from his high chair.

Let's go Giants! Again!

Nick got to go to another Giants game. First time he got to sit behind the home plate. Today he got to go to the Zynga suite. Spoiled much?
Nice view from up here, guys! What's that? Some people sit in the
bleachers? No thanks, I like this much better!

Spaghetti fail

Spiral left

Nick at Rally class. I walked him almost through the whole spiral exercise, but then he decided to sit. That's points off, you know.

Truck

This truck is super awesome. It has wheels! Wheels are fascinating.

Let's go Giants!

Nick went to his first baseball game. He found it very acceptable. Unfortunately, the Giants lost to Atlanta.

We had seats almost directly behind the home plate (thanks, Kostadis!) and at some point a camera crewman came by and Nick was on the big screen on the stadium for at least a minute (stupidly I didn't take a picture). The whole stadium (40,000 people or so), went "awwww" and then when we walked around later people were pointing at him and saying "That's the baby!". So he's famous and stuff.

Giants Stadium is really in a pretty spot. Especially

Right behind the home plate.

French fries! Very acceptable.

View from our seats. From this close, baseball is
actually not boring.

Ugly doll

Nick saw this stuffy at the toy store and declared that he wanted it. Then he spent all afternoon hugging it. It's made by the Ugly Doll company and has giant teeth and eyes. Nick doesn't usually care for stuffies, but this one was super awesome apparently.

Dubious

Where are you dragging me again, you crazy woman?

Beat L.A.!

It's playoffs time. Kostadis is growing a playoffs beard. Nick is, hopefully, growing playoffs hair. Or playoffs teeth. Or something.

Nick got to go to the pre-game street rally in San Jose.

Boys in their jerseys.

Please notice that they wear (almost) matching clothes.
Cargo pants/shorts, jersey, and sandals. Scary, yes.
At the street rally. Nick is befuddled.

With the Zamboni. Yes, Nick, I hope Niemi will do well too.

Why are you taking pictures of me? And who
are all these people? And isn't it past my bedtime?

Nick gets to sit on the Zamboni.
This is interesting. Good view from up here.

With the famous Sharks fire truck. Fire truck interesting. Mom taking
pictures, not so interesting.

I find this activity very acceptable.

Oooh, even better view from up here. Most acceptable.

Downtown San Jose decorations.

Gnawing

They are both gnawing. Don't worry Nick is eating cheese, not a rawhide bone.
